POSITION TITLE : Senior Engineer  LOCATION : Barnala

  1. Responsible for smooth operation of Chilled Water plants, Brine plants, Thermopack, Air Compressor, Nitrogen plants, Cooling Towers, Purified/Potable water and HVAC/FAS. To ensure the availability of these Utilities effectively & efficiently as per the requirement of production process.
  2. Plan & Implement cleaning /replacement schedules of AHU’s , filters and to ensure record of the same.
  3. To ensure proper documentation as per Standard Operating Procedures.
  4. To ensure requalification of various equipments like DPB, RLAF, AHU etc  by coordinating with production departments & external agencies as per requalification calenders.
  5. To coordinate with maintenance department for keeping inventory of critical items
  6. To make qualification documents for new equipments to be installed in utility department as per QA SOP’s.
  7. Monitor operational parameters of all Utilities & ensure that these are as per the norms.
  8. To suggest improvement plans.
  9. To check all data related to all equipment is recorded correctly in log books.      
  10. To coordinate with operators and helpers for making effective shift schedules.         
  11. Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
    1. Maintain a current and complete chemical inventory and MSDSs in their workplace
    2. Supervising personnel for effective implementation of the EHS program into the work processes.
    3. Providing necessary information / equipments to subordinates to protect their health.
    4. Auditing his/her area of control for improvement w. r. t. EHS and implementing    corrective actions for all violations as highlighted in safety audits.
    5. Ensure that organizational training requirements have been completed and provide individual employees with training specific to the area in which they will be working.
    6. Making subordinates available for attending in house /out house EHS training.
    7. Taking disciplinary actions (as per company policy) against violators of EHS rules/regulations as highlighted during audits.
    8. Prepare accident reports and forward copies to EHS and implement recommended corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
