1. To follow the gowning and de-gowning procedure while entering in intermediate/ P.P. area and maintain the personnel’s health hygiene.
2. To verify & issue the raw materials /packing materials before using in batch as per the procedure.
3. To record the online activity as per their respective BPCRs, and formats.
4. To review BPCRs / all formats online ensure that these are completed and signed.
5. To operate the process equipment i.e. Reactor, driers, Centrifuge, Distillation column, etc. as required by the plant/ module as per SOPs and in case of any abnormality/breakdown then inform to shift in charge and get it attended to promptly.
6. To perform all processing activities i.e. Dissolution, distillation, filtration, etc. as per BPCR and following the concern SOP.
7. To ensure that the equipment status board is updated and also ensures batch operations are going on as per SOP.
8. To ensure the work is done as per respective SOPs.
9. To follow the cGMP norms lay down by the company.
10. To coordinate with QC for In-process testing and results report attach with respective BPCR.
11. To maintain proper housekeeping in the area and cleaning of equipment.
12. To coordinate with the maintenance team for Preventive maintenance/Calibration.
13. To ensure that all accessories are cleaned & labeled as per the procedure.
14. To inspect the physical condition of all equipment while the process is going on.
15. To attend the training program and improve the working in the plant with respect to cGMP & safety and follow the cGMP norms.
16. To report/ handle incidents/deviations.
17. To share any problem during work with his superior.
18. To ensure all equipment/Instruments are in the state of preventive maintenance /calibrated/ cleaned as per schedule and tags are updated.
19. To do the work described in the job responsibility of Shift Incharge -Production in absence of them, as required by their Module/ section Incharge.
20. In case of absence, job delegation will be assigned to Senior Chemist/ Chemist/ Operator/ Shift In-Charge/Senior Executive.
· Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
1. Supervising personnel for effective implementation of the EHS program into the Work process.
2. Label all containers of hazardous materials properly.
3. Implement specific standard operating procedures in the workplace.
4. On the job training to his/her subordinates for improved safety standards.
5. Informing his / her superiors about the safety requirements (equipment etc.)
6. Ensure that EHS rules/regulations are followed fully during work processes.
