Role Overview: This position will be responsible for driving accurate product costing, preparing and monitoring budgets, conducting variance analysis, and ensuring compliance through internal audits. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Product Costing:

  • Develop and maintain cost models for existing and new products.
  • Analyze raw material, labor, and overhead costs to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Provide cost insights for pricing strategies and profitability analysis.

 

2.     Budgeting:

  • Prepare annual and quarterly budgets in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor budget adherence and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with department heads for resource allocation and forecasting.


3.    Variance Analysis:

  • Perform monthly variance analysis between actuals and budgets.
  • Identify root causes of deviations and present actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management review.


4.    Internal Audits:

  • Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Identify process gaps and implement control measures.
  • Support statutory audits with required documentation and data.


Required Qualifications & Skills:
•    Education: CMA.
•    Experience: 10-15 years in financial planning, costing, and audits (preferably in manufacturing or pharma industry).
•    Strong knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
•    Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling.
•    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
